Tribute to boy killed by a tractor
The family of an 11 year old boy who was killed by a tractor at a farm attraction have paid tribute to him on the day of his funeral.
Harry Whitlam, from Wakefield, died after he was struck by a tractor on Swithens Farm near Leeds on August 10th.
His family thanked the emergency services who tried to save his life.
A 48 year old man is on bail after he was arrested for drink driving and causing death by dangerous driving.
Harry’s family released a statement through West Yorkshire Police which paid tribute to his ‘huge personality’ and his ‘wicked sense of humour’.
Following the accident, Harry was airlifted to Leeds General Infirmary where he underwent surgery on his head, but he later died.
His funeral takes place today (29th August).
